Sarbanes Oxley Act
The Sarbanes Oxley Act lays down the obligation to establish an internal control system (Sec. 404) through the management and to perform regular reviews of the IKS.
Companies that are subject to these duties mostly use the COSO Framework. COSO, while accepting the importance of IT, offers however no support in the implementation of specific IT controls.
For this reason, this Report Pack considers the relevant COBIT controls instead.
